Cellular South announced availability of the MOTOROLA XOOMTM Wi-Fi tablet. MOTOROLA XOOM is the first device operating on Android 3.0 Honeycomb, designed especially for tablets. In addition to widgets, true multi-tasking, browsing, notifications and customization, the 10.1-inch widescreen HD tablet also features the latest Googleâ„¢ Mobile services, including Google Maps 5.0 with 3D interaction and delivers access to over 3 million Google eBooks and thousands of apps on Android Market. Other highlights: 1GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB of RAM, a front-facing 2 MP camera, a rear-facing 5 MP camera, a built-in gyroscope, barometer, e-compass, accelerometer and adaptive lighting for new types of applications.

The MOTOROLA XOOM tablet is available at Cellular South as a Wi-Fi only unit or customers can pair up the tablet with a free Novatel MiFi 2200 hotspot with the purchase of a data plan. Pricing for the MOTOROLA XOOM is $599.99.
